  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Health Exercise Daily
How can you incorporate other personal values (like quality time with friends or spending time in nature) into your exercise routine?

I can incorporate my personal values with my exercise routine by finding others who enjoy the same value as me, and find activities that we both enjoy that is physical and good for us.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Transportation Drive Less
How has your access to various kinds of transportation throughout your life influenced your current attitudes about transportation and your transportation behavior?

Ever since I got my drivers license, I have learned the importance throughout transportation. I have been influenced that the more I drive, the more I waste gas and damage my cars life. So the less I drive, the longer the life of my car can last. It would save me financially and strategically.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Water 5-Minute Showers
Name some of the human activities impacting the health of water systems, both locally (your watershed) and globally (freshwater and oceans). What can you do to improve the health of water systems?

In my neighborhood, I have found trash that were dumped in our lakes. Mostly by residents who fish. I have found fishing lines, plastic and containers. In freshwaters and oceans, I have found trash that affected fish and mammal life. If we were better on taking care of our trash instead of dumping them in the ocean, then we could be saving our waters and the fish life within it.

I'm always confused by people who obviously love being outside fishing leaving so much trash behind. I see it on our pond here at school.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Waste Use a Reusable Water Bottle
While water bottles are needed for health and safety in certain places, we can do more to reduce the unnecessary use of them. What are the barriers to you using reusable bottles and tap water instead of bottled water? How could you make this a permanent habit?

To me, using reusable bottles and drinking tap water help avoid the possibility of what happens to a bottle after its used. I drink 3 bottles of water a day to keep myself hydrated. But I save the bottles for future uses. By using the same bottles, I am helping the environment from being covered by littered bottles that are used, and then tossed out because "it has no use for them." In my old neighborhood, I found tons of water bottles in the creek because it was near a bike trail. Today, I am making a difference by saving bottles and keeping my neighborhood clean.
