Sienna Berglof 10/27/2021 4:33 PMStarted a new job today, enjoyed 2 meatless meals. -
Sienna Berglof 10/26/2021 4:34 PMBought a neighbor food for a belated birthday, enjoyed a salad and veggie pizza slice for lunch, did some mindful breathing, and did some window shopping online and then emptied my cart lol -
Sienna Berglof 10/25/2021 5:49 PMI got my one-time action of watching a food sovereignty documentary done tonight-- watched it for free on PBS: https://www.pbs.org/video/legacy-documentary-regaining-food-sovereignty/
It was really cool to be able to relate to the Northern Minnesota natives with my native upbringing 3,000 miles away. We have dealt with the same issues of colonizers policing our traditional ways of hunting, fishing, and gathering; we also deal with obesity and other health issues greatly due to the subjugation of low nutrition foods given by the government; and a loss of a sense of culture and community that the traditional ways of foraging food once brought. It's great to see that people are taking back their right to healthy food! -
Sienna Berglof 10/25/2021 4:37 PMTook a long bus ride today to enjoy the fall foliage :) -
Sienna Berglof 10/24/2021 4:35 PMI was able to help a couple people out today, enjoyed a vegetarian lunch, practiced mindfully relaxing (sounds like an oxymoron!), and managed to curb my impulse to buy something I really don't need. I also went on a really great nature walk and used some plant ID skills to figure out what trees had my favorite foliage colors! -
Sienna Berglof 10/22/2021 4:45 PMOne vegan meal this morning, planning a meatless meal for tonight. -
Sienna Berglof 10/21/2021 9:13 AMDidn't buy anything today! -
Sienna Berglof 10/18/2021 5:18 PMI bought some food for a houseless veteran while getting groceries, which made his day and also mine. I also did a guided meditation focusing on autogenic training. -
Sienna Berglof 10/17/2021 5:01 PMHelped a few people asking for baking advice online, supported a local Korean cafe, rode my electric bike, and tried getting some steps in.-
Sienna Berglof 10/18/2021 11:45 AMIt is a game-changer. I think it's like 10 cents worth of electricity every charge, which is like nothing. And it's great for hills and picking up groceries! -
April Ann Fong 10/18/2021 10:30 AMooo...jealous of the bike! do you love it?
