Happy to join the Eco Challenge with my fellow St. Thomas staff and faculty.   As the self titled "recycling queen" of campus I am thrilled to support or learn even more about waste diversion and proper sorting plus creative ways to to reduce and reuse.   Happy to participate!

Waste is always on the front of my mind since this is  large focus of my work at St Thomas.  My experiences of minimizing waste and utilizing the correct compost or recycling stream has filtered into my home life with my family of 4 as well.  We rarely fill our 32 gallon curbside waste bin.  A typical week will produce one 13 gallon kitchen size bag of waste or less from our whole family.
