REFLECTION QUESTIONWater Mulch the Base of Trees and PlantsWhere are your nearest natural bodies of water? How might they be affected by runoff?
Bethsabée Boumendil 3/15/2021 5:24 AMI live near a beach, and it’s next to a McDonald’s. People like to eat on the beach and they dump their trash into their. There are no borders to the beach so it can easily overflow. And it can also overflow with trash so I use the least amount of water possible to try todecrease the amount of trash water that gets into the ocean -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWater Say No to Plastic StrawsWhat single-use items (e.g. straws, coffee cups, vegetable bags, plastic bags) do you regularly use? What could be substituted instead?
Bethsabée Boumendil 3/05/2021 5:48 AMI use plastic wraps to store food and plastic containers, and plastic bags for when I go grocery shopping, Instead, I can use reusable zip loc and sustainable containers, and paper bags, or a tote bag for groceries. I even sometimes use un cadis( I don't know what it is in English) -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth HappinessHow does/can practicing gratitude keep you centered and motivated to work for a better world?
Bethsabée Boumendil 3/03/2021 5:43 AMI can see that I have a purpose, and tons to be grateful for and I’m motivated to work to have more to be grateful for. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWater 5-Minute ShowersName some of the human activities impacting the health of water systems, both locally (your watershed) and globally (freshwater and oceans). What can you do to improve the health of water systems?
Bethsabée Boumendil 3/03/2021 5:27 AMI go to the beach pretty often just to walk around and envoyé the fresh air, i often steer trash there and I try to pick it up as much as I can. I also filter the water I drink and shower with to keep it clean. -
