Gianna's actions
Simplicity
Core Values
We may find more meaning and joy in life when our actions are aligned with our personal values. I will determine what my top 3-5 core values are so that I can better align my actions with them.
Simplicity
Meditate
I will meditate or create a moment of silence for 30 minute(s) each day to reflect on things important to me.
Community
Engage In Active Listening
I will practice actively listening to a friend, family member, co-worker, acquaintance, or someone who I may disagree with in at least 10 conversations.
Simplicity
Work-Life Balance
I will not work more than 8 hour days each day to practice work-life balance.
Simplicity
De-Clutter My Home or Dorm Room
I will de-clutter, clean, and donate or recycle unneeded items in my home or dorm room.
Simplicity
Mindfulness Practice
I will spend 30 minute(s) per day practicing Mindfulness.
Waste
Go Paperless
I will reduce the amount of paper mail that I receive by 0.11lbs (0.05kg) a day or 3.3lbs (1.6kg) a month by opting into paperless billing, ending unwanted subscriptions and opting out of junk mail.
Waste
Personal Waste Audit
I will collect all of my unrecyclable, non-compostable trash to raise my awareness of how much I send to the landfill.

Gianna Casini-Lendino 10/18/2021 12:42 PMThis weather this past two weekends have been beautiful. My family and I tried to take advantage of the warm weather. My town was having a village wide garage sale. It was a wonderful opportunity for people to get used items instead of buying it new at the store. This is a great example of reducing and recycling. My town also had a fall festival. This event brought the community put and socialize. The local farms, businesses and organizations where there to promote ways we can participate to help the community.
