Energy
Power Down the Computer
I will power down my computer and monitor when not using it for more than 2 hours, saving up to (1.1) lbs of CO2 each day that I do this.
Waste
Skip the Straw
Plastic bags and small plastic pieces like straws are most likely to get swept into our waterways. I will keep 4 plastic straw(s) out of the landfill and ocean each day by refusing straws or using my own glass/metal straw.
Health
More Fruits and Veggies
I will eat a heart healthy diet by adding 1 cup(s) of fruits and vegetables each day to achieve at least 4 cups per day.
Health
Exercise Daily
Exercise is a great stress blaster! I will exercise for 30 minute(s) each day.

REFLECTION QUESTIONHealthHow does eating more fruits and vegetables and less meat positively affect yourself, other people, and our planet?
Fiona Chrystall 4/11/2020 6:11 AMFar fewer resources used. Didn't reach 4 cups of fruit and veg yesterday but I have a pineapple and salad ingredients in the refrigerator. Today is another day. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWasteHow could you incorporate other "R's" -- reduce, reuse, refuse, repair, repurpose, etc. -- into your lifestyle?
Fiona Chrystall 4/11/2020 6:08 AMI bought stainless steel straws as part of the ecochallenge a year or two ago. Not having to use them as we are not eating in restaurants. I repurpose, reuse and recycle all that I can. Have done for many years. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealthHow can you incorporate other personal values (like quality time with friends or spending time in nature) into your exercise routine?
Fiona Chrystall 4/11/2020 6:05 AMWalked up, down and round the back pasture. Beautiful day and enjoyed listening to the birds. -
