Watch the film Creatures of Convenience on CBC Gem

Check out the film Creatures of Convenience on CBC Gem for FREE! This is a local film about the the impact our culture of convenience has on the environment. If you liked the film, consider attending our Earth Day event on Thursday, April 22: "In Conversation: Creatures of Convenience," a Q&A session with the film's producer and filmmaker, moderated by KPU instructor Dr. Paul Richard! To complete this action, you only have to watch the film - but we'd love to see you at the event as well! :)

Does anyone remember the therapy dogs during exam week? I’ve be overwhelmed with the final assignments/projects due this coming week and I’m finding this eco challenge competition a welcome respite especially the simplicity category but it’s still hard. I hope everyone’s staying happy and healthy and had a great time this month like I did. 😊

Erin, No they're hand reared on site and released in to the wild once their old enough so we can't get them familiar with humans after they're weaned, so no talking or touching but they'll reach out and pat me on the knee its the cutest thing!

As a treat my stepmom made picarones. It’s a Peruvian treat made out of squash, sweet potato and flour. You fry them and there almost like a healthy version of a donut. It’s super yummy with syrup
