What are other ways you could use the power of the sun to reduce your own environmental footprint?

You could use the power of the sun to dry your clothes when they out of the washer or you can use the power of the sun to heat up your car if it is facing the sun.

The weather was very nice on Sunday and I ended up doing some nature based activities with my boyfriend. We ended up playing basketball for 30 minutes on Sunday and we did end up going for a walk because the weather felt so nice and it was honestly so refreshing. Just walking around and enjoying the weather helped my mental health for the day and helped me after having a rough day.

I did watch the sunrise twice this week because I was up early heading to work. It was beautiful and it was a nice seratoin to start my mornings. I also felt refreshed! Then I watched the sunset multiple times this week since I get off at 6pm and it is usually getting dark around that time. It was nice watching the sun set and feeling relaxed driving home with music and the sunsetting.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Community Engage In Active Listening
What was it like to actively listen to someone? How did both people and the conversation(s) benefit from active listening?

My mom and I were talking about our jobs since we are both teachers (I teach early childhood and she teaches middle schoolers) and the conversation went on for 20 minutes. It was nice listening to my mom talk about her day as a teacher because our jobs are very similar in a way and it was great to talk to someone who understands what I go through at work. We both benefited from active listening by getting both of our thoughts and helping each other grow as teachers.

I started taking my own reusable water bottle to my job and it has saved me so much money on bottled water and it has helped my environment so much. I have seen less water bottles in my recycling bin at home and at work also!

I just got a new water bottle....I kind of have a water bottle problem, but they are mostly metal and all recyclable if I ever wear them out.
