Nature
Leave No Trace
I will practice the seven principles of Leave No Trace when doing nature activities alone or with family and friends.
Community
Support Businesses Owned by People of Color
Racial inequity is both a sustainability and justice problem. I will support businesses owned by people of color in my community whenever I shop.
Nature
Practice Gratitude for Earth
I will spend 15 minute(s) per day outside, practicing gratitude (prayer, meditation, journaling, etc.) for Earth and my natural surroundings.
Participant Feed
Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.
Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.
To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

Brooke Dreier 10/27/2020 8:23 AMLast day of the challenge! It was really fun to look up different business owned by people of color and go there to do any shopping I had. I also really enjoyed spending at least 15 minutes outside everyday, it was very refreshing and gave me a much needed break from doing work! -
Brooke Dreier 10/12/2020 9:27 AMThe ecochallenge has been going quite smoothly! I have had a hard time remember to come on here to say that I have completed my daily actions but I have been doing them everyday. Since I have moved away from campus, it has actually been easier to get outside and appreciate nature since I live in the middle of the woods. I have been to two different parks already, one being Minnehaha Park in Minneapolis and the other Willow River State Park in Hudson, WI.
