Lizzie's actions
Waste
Skip the Straw
Plastic bags and small plastic pieces like straws are most likely to get swept into our waterways. I will keep 1 plastic straw(s) out of the landfill and ocean each day by refusing straws or using my own glass/metal straw.
Health
Exercise Daily
Exercise is a great stress blaster! I will exercise for 30 minute(s) each day.
Food
Reduce Animal Products
I will enjoy 3 meatless meal(s) and/or 1 vegan meal(s) each day this week.
Nature
Go for a Daily Walk
I will take a 15-minute walk outside each day.
Community
Engage In Active Listening
I will practice actively listening to a friend, family member, co-worker, acquaintance, or someone who I may disagree with in at least 5 conversations.
Waste
RESEARCH LOCAL WASTE SITES
I will spend 30 minutes finding out where landfills and/or toxic waste sites are situated in my region and which communities are most impacted by these sites.
Food
Visit A Local Farm
I will visit a nearby farm to pick my own fruits and veggies.

Lizzie Dusseau 3/29/2022 7:21 AMThe ecochallenge simplifies the challenge of saving our environment. There are so many factors that effect our environment so it is hard to know where to start. This platform makes it easier to make a difference. It is encouraging to be on a team and to be challenged to earn points while helping the environment. Overall it has been a good experience.
