I think the ecochallenge went well. There was a week where I missed a few check-ins due to my internet but overall it was good!
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Action Track: Building Resilience Advocate for More Food Options
What changes would help food insecure regions have access to local, seasonal foods? How can your choices contribute to these changes?

    Christian Gomolchak's avatar
    Christian Gomolchak 11/18/2021 7:37 AM
I think that if we were able to transport just mostly seasonal foods into places in food-insecure regions then we would allow them to have access. I can help by just buying seasonal foods and advocating for these changes.

It's going great so far! I really like seeing how much I am helping the environment.

    Simplicity Core Values
What are your top 3-5 core values? How did you narrow it down to those as being your core values?

    Christian Gomolchak's avatar
    Christian Gomolchak 11/11/2021 10:21 AM
I would say my core values would be respect, loyalty, and compassion. These three things are very important to me.

      Those are excellent core values!

Those are definitely some big values to have and that are important. I believe that those would be three of the big ones for me as well. You have to have respect for everything in your life, not just the people but the earth in which we live on.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Transportation Work from Home
It takes the average worker in the United States 26 minutes to travel to work. One way to fix long commutes would be to make cities more affordable. An even simpler option: promote the use of telework. How have you used technology to replace in-person meetings or work this year?

This year I have taken some online classes to cut my trips to school.

I researched and found that spending more time outside increases vital blood flow to the brain enhancing brainpower.
