REFLECTION QUESTIONNatureFather Thomas Berry says, "... our primary purpose is celebration. Celebration of the dawn and the sunset and the different seasons of the year is a religious ritual, a way in which humans can establish their integral relationship with the universe, with the planet Earth." What is your response to Berry's assertion?
Janet Han 8/13/2021 8:24 AMI believe he is right. Having a relationship with the planet Earth and what it has to offer is a sign of respect. The way we respect the people in our lives is how we should be respecting the planet we live on. We should be celebrating every new day that rises and take care of the things that allow us to have a new day, everyday. -

Janet Han 6/07/2021 10:43 AMEcochallenge is going well. I am more aware of what I am doing and using more often. I think twice before pull an item at the grocery store, I also find myself thinking about what other small changes I can make. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicitySocial media can keep us connected with loved ones, make us laugh, and help us to learn new things. It can also create echo chambers and take more time than we realize or intend to give. After completing this action for a few days, how do you feel? What do you notice?
Janet Han 5/20/2021 1:04 PMI deleted my social media Sunday night before Summer semester started and I already feel a mental change. It's only been 4 days, but I feel lighter. I'm not reaching for my phone every other minute to mindlessly scroll through ads and other peoples lives. I am finding that I am connecting more with people on a differently level than just sending memes back and forth. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONNatureHow do you experience your neighborhood or city differently when walking instead of driving?
