What do you do if you find yourself in the situation of needing a bag for items but don't have a reusable one with you or aren't allowed to use the one you brought? Carry things out in your hands? In a cart? Accept a disposable one? If you find yourself in this position often, what system could you put in place to try to create a successful habit of not using plastic bags?

If I don't have a ton of items, I will almost always carry them out just in my hands, but often if I have a ton of items I will resort to using a paper bag then a plastic bag if there are no paper bags available. My issue is that I will forget my reusable bags at my apartment when going to the store, so setting up some kind of system that will help me remember to grab them would be the best thing to do.

How do you experience your neighborhood or city differently when walking instead of driving?

I noticed the smaller things like moss on trees and rocks and the way the blue sky and bright sun shined through the trees. I also just noticed people more; it was fun just watching people go about their daily activities.
