REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Personal Waste AuditWhy is it so difficult to understand the impacts our purchases and waste have on other people, animals, and places? How might your experience with this challenge impact your future consumption and choices?
Buddhi Prakash Jangid 5/14/2019 1:27 PMDisposing of waste has huge environmental impacts and can cause serious problems. Some waste will eventually rot, but not all, and in the process it may smell, or generate methane gas, which is explosive and contributes to the greenhouse effect. Leachate produced as waste decomposes may cause pollution. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicity Needs Vs. WantsHow is creativity a necessary ingredient for practicing simplicity?
Buddhi Prakash Jangid 5/14/2019 1:24 PMSimplicity: I do not think history can ever produce a simple man like Mahatma Gandhi. Being such a great leader his way of living, teaching, books and even his quotes were very simple. His simplicity reflects in his ideas and way of living. Simplicity is probably his greatest virtue. -

REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth HappinessHow does/can practicing gratitude keep you centered and motivated to work for a better world?
Buddhi Prakash Jangid 5/13/2019 3:14 PMRelationships May Make You Happier, Study Says, But So Can These Other Things. There's no secret weapon when it comes to how to be happy, as much as we'd like there to be. But new research shows that relationships may be linked with happiness a little more than you might think. -

REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Whole Food LifestyleMichael Pollan states that “it is better to pay the grocer (our edit: or the farmer!) than the doctor.” What are your thoughts on this assertion?
Buddhi Prakash Jangid 5/13/2019 3:09 PMOur family is on a budget and can’t afford to eat all organic. Where should we direct our money to get the most benefit? Organic produce? Meats? Dairy?
