  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Waste Personal Waste Audit
Why is it so difficult to understand the impacts our purchases and waste have on other people, animals, and places? How might your experience with this challenge impact your future consumption and choices?

    Buddhi Prakash Jangid's avatar
Buddhi Prakash Jangid 5/14/2019 1:27 PM
Disposing of waste has huge environmental impacts and can cause serious problems. Some waste will eventually rot, but not all, and in the process it may smell, or generate methane gas, which is explosive and contributes to the greenhouse effect. Leachate produced as waste decomposes may cause pollution.

    Buddhi Prakash Jangid's avatar
Buddhi Prakash Jangid 5/14/2019 1:24 PM
Simplicity: I do not think history can ever produce a simple man like Mahatma Gandhi. Being such a great leader his way of living, teaching, books and even his quotes were very simple. His simplicity reflects in his ideas and way of living. Simplicity is probably his greatest virtue.

Walking plays an important role in improving our quality of life because it helps protect and improve the living environment and natural resources. ... Communities designed to be walkable have the potential to reduce air pollution and greenhouse gases because people may choose to walk or bike rather than drive.

Rratic sleep patterns can leave feeling out of whack, so a regular sleep schedule may be exactly what you need. Just a few adjustments to your daily routine can help you go to bed and wake up at the same time every day.
