Creativity lets simplicity fulfill many needs by using less to do more.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

    Emma Jeanquart 3/29/2021 8:26 PM
By not overworking myself, I can take the necessary time to help myself and give me what I need so I can then help others and overall sustain the world.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Simplicity Go For A Daily Walk Outside
Fresh air and movement are good for our entire being and can help us think more clearly and creatively. How does taking a walk each day affect yourself and/or your work?

    Emma Jeanquart 3/29/2021 8:25 PM
I love walking outside, today the wind made me feel alive and powerful. I feel more capable after going for a walk and not depending on anything but myself to get me where I'm going!

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Food Advocate for More Food Options
What changes would help food insecure regions have access to local, seasonal foods? How can your choices contribute to these changes?

    Emma Jeanquart's avatar
    Emma Jeanquart 3/29/2021 8:17 PM
Eating in season from local farms, as well as voting for those who will help make these changes possible. By choosing to eat locally and organically and voting I can make a difference.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

Today was the first day I practiced mindfulness and it was very interesting taking the time to appreciate the small workings and experiences I normally do not notice. I felt my muscles relax and my mind get more focused so I could read an article better and gain more information. It helped me realize my core values and how I see things, and how to further understand.

I have been having a hard time keeping up with the eco challenge, and it reflects other things I struggle with daily. Reminders from friends have been so helpful and I appreciate those who take the time out of their day to remind me, it helps be immensely.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Water 5-Minute Showers
Name some of the human activities impacting the health of water systems, both locally (your watershed) and globally (freshwater and oceans). What can you do to improve the health of water systems?

I think conserving water usage is very important, and I plan on using a water recycling system when I have my own home to modify in showers. Composting toilets when used by many people would also help how we use our water. It is sad to see how we use water today, excessively as if it isn't a finite resource. A netflix documentary Seaspiracy explains and informs many ways we are destroying our ocean and sea and lake life through government subsidizing organizations taking advantage of these resources.
