I will collect all of my unrecyclable, non-compostable trash to raise my awareness of how much I send to the landfill.

Molly Kelley 5/06/2020 10:04 AMI keep forgetting to check in! We've been so busy at work. Some things are coming naturally because of the pandemic - driving less, walking more frequently, trying to be mindful of resource usage. But it's a busy time. -

That is our intent: to restore, and then to retain balance and honor our part in creation." Why is balance important to sustainability?
Molly Kelley 5/06/2020 10:03 AMHistorically, dominant white culture has been anything but balanced, both in our approach to resources and land, but also in terms of peoples, place and things. We use and abuse, absorb and throw away what doesn't suit us. Greater balance brings about greater appreciation both for what came before us and what we have now.
