Lydia Kozlowski 5/04/2020 6:46 PMThe challenge is now over, and I would like to thank you all for participating! I'd like to give a shoutout to our top three teammates, in terms of points- Kailey Corder, Brianna Kirk, and Kaylee O'Conner! :) Just because the challenge is over, doesn't mean we need to stop practicing sustainably! I encourage you all to continue to incorporate the activities from these pledges into your everyday routines! To learn more about sustainability at St. Thomas specifically, you can visit this website or check out the university’s sustainability strategic plan.
Thank you all once again for participating!! -

Lydia Kozlowski 4/27/2020 9:16 AMHappy Monday everyone!
Today we're focusing on the category of Simplicity! I challenge you all to make and complete one pledge in that category! Also, it's our last week of the Eco-challenge, but that doesn't mean it's not too late to invite friends to join! The Class of 2022 is a little bit behind in terms of points (but just means we can make a come-back!), and inviting friends or completing actions is a great way to get our class back in the lead. :) -
Lydia Kozlowski 4/24/2020 9:55 AMHappy Friday! Today's focus is on health and wellness. Pledge to eat 4 cups of fruits and veggies today to support a healthy diet!
Keep up the good work guys, and don't forget it's not to late to invite friends to join! -
Lydia Kozlowski 4/23/2020 9:43 AMHi everyone!
Today's category is transportation, so make sure to take a look at those pledges today! A good way outside of the Eco-challenge to get information on multi-modal transportation is the bike/walk/roll zoom session that will be happening today at 12!(https://stthomas.campuslabs.com/engage/event/5702500) Also, there was a question about challenging the other classes. This is in fact a competition with all the other St. Thomas teams to see who can get the most points, and the standings can be checked through this link: https://campus.ecochallenge.org/teams?utf8=%E2%9C%93&sword=St.+Thomas&commit=Search&country=&state=&kind As you can see, the Sophomore class is behind, but it's not too late for us to invite our friends and make some pledges to bump our way up to the lead! :)

Lydia Kozlowski 4/22/2020 10:05 AMAlso, today's category of the day is energy! Choosing renewable energy and using energy sustainably is important for the well-being of our communities and the planet! :) Pledge to adjust your thermostat down 2 degrees from usual when using the heat, and up 2 degrees when using air conditioning. -
