  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Health Take Control
How do environmental health, community health, and your personal health intersect?

The healthier I am the healthier I can make the community around me. People affect change in other people so it becomes important for others to incite change. And the more I go out and exercise and the more I go out and am able to eat healthier and more local foods, the better it is for the environment because I am putting less pollution into the air
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Water Brush My Teeth Without Running Water
What is the main water source in your region? If you don't know, how could you find out?

I believe the main water source of my region is Cayuga lake. Since I am unsure I can ask locals if they know or I could do a quick google search to see if I could find out.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Food Advocate for More Food Options
What changes would help food insecure regions have access to local, seasonal foods? How can your choices contribute to these changes?

Since we have a green house we would be able to grow our own food. There are also a ton of apple orchards and peach trees around so when those are in season we could work with local orchards in order to have local fresh fruit.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

How can you incorporate other personal values (like quality time with friends or spending time in nature) into your exercise routine?

I can always ask some of my friends if they would like to work out with me or if they want to go on a walk. This would allow us to have time to talk and hangout while still being active.
