Tom Le 10/31/2019 10:14 AMBefore I moved to the US, I always used to take long showers when I was still in Vietnam due to the heat and moisture. Now in Oregon, It's mostly cold so I don't have the feeling to take as long showers and not as frequent as I used to. -
Tom Le 10/31/2019 10:12 AMBack then, I was super picky about what water bottle to bring; It has to look right and be the right size and also the reason why I haven't been using my own water bottle. Now with my current water bottle, It lets my cold drinks stays cold and hot stays hot. -
Tom Le 10/30/2019 9:25 AMI'm gonna be real, I take a bath every once in a while; It's nice and all. But every time I do take one, I used who knows how many times as much water as I would have taking a normal shower. -
Tom Le 10/30/2019 9:15 AMI didn't have my own water bottle for the first 2 weeks of school so I always stay thirsty throughout the school day, sometimes, I would always buy carbonated drinks because I think in my head that buying a 1.25$ water bottle isn't worth the money. I concluded that not having availability to a source of water at all time will ends in you having an unhealthy diet. -
Tom Le 10/29/2019 9:33 AMMy Shower always take too long to get from cold to hot water so i waste like 1-2 minutes worth of showering time by waiting for it to be hot. I've been trying to improve myself by taking colder showers but it's really hard, my body can't take the cold really well. -
Tom Le 10/29/2019 9:32 AMBefore having my own water bottle, I've always stayed dehydrated during class because getting access to the water fountains weren't easy; It's a struggle really, I was thirsty for most the day until I get to lunch where there's a fountain nearby where I can replenish myself. -
Tom Le 10/28/2019 6:43 PMI only shower every other day because I don't really see myself getting dirty or in anyways be in contact with germs, It helps save water usage by half rather than showering everyday for no reason unless It's a heavy duty day and you're sweating all over the place. -
Tom Le 10/28/2019 6:40 PMAlmost forgot to bring my flask today, If I didn't, I would have either buy a water bottle from a vending machine that either cost a lot of money, or isn't enough for me the whole day. Having your own water bottle has big benefits, It lasts long enough for the day if not you can just refill it at a water fountain. -
Tom Le 10/27/2019 10:30 AMLast Monday, I was close to missing the bus so I had to shorten my shower time down to 3-4 minutes, It wasn't the best cleaning I've done but It's good enough for comfort. I think people sometimes forget the purpose of showering; not to play with water but get yourself clean. -
Tom Le 10/27/2019 10:29 AMThis Saturday, I bought my flask with me to the No Ivy day during the volunteer hours. Instead of drinking one or two water bottles ms. fong brought, I was using my own and saving myself from using the water bottles.
