Mari Leslie 5/02/2021 4:52 PMWent for a walk in a local park (Stella Olsen) and picked up some trash (that was left like only 10 feet from a garbage can!) -
Mari Leslie 4/30/2021 8:22 PMPlanted a couple more things in garden pots today including a Fuchsia that the hummingbirds like! -
Mari Leslie 4/29/2021 10:37 AMI've forgotten to check in, but yesterday I planted a really pretty rhubarb plant as well as some herbs (chives, cilantro, parsley). The wildflowers are really starting to sprout. There are tons of nesting birds in our big trees and I think I saw some baby squirrels the other day as well! -
Mari Leslie 4/25/2021 10:44 PMThe wildflowers I seeded in the garden are starting to sprout! They're so tiny :) We also discovered we have a pair of nesting doves, which was so cool to find out! -
Mari Leslie 4/19/2021 9:56 PMI planted a patch of native wildflower seeds in the garden today! I'm not used to growing flowers by seed, so we'll see how it goes! -
Mari Leslie 4/17/2021 8:21 PMI moved a ton of soil/mulch in the garden today! We're trying to break up some of our soil (which has a lot of clay) and plant ground cover plants to reduce rainwater runoff – it's hard work. -
Mari Leslie 4/14/2021 11:47 PMSpent a few hours today working in our garden! It felt so nice to be outside on a nice day and I loved seeing the squirrels and birds while I worked :)
