    I do not get much sleep now, so I would like to shift my sleep pattern to get more sleep. What works for me is putting my phone away before I go to bed.

    I think it is difficult to understand the impacts fo our purchases and waste because we don't actually see where is ends up. We put our waste in the trash and it conveniently goes away and we never see it again. By seeing how much trash I create, I will do a better job of using less to reduce that amount.

    What do you do if you find yourself in the situation of needing a bag for items but don't have a reusable one with you or aren't allowed to use the one you brought? Carry things out in your hands? In a cart? Accept a disposable one? If you find yourself in this position often, what system could you put in place to try to create a successful habit of not using plastic bags?

    I would accept a plastic one, but then save and reuse the bag when I need it.  I can try to avoid this situation by keeping reusable bags in my car so I don't forget them.

    Voting is important to help choose officials that think about the environment in their decision making. I can also call and write my elected officials to encourage them to make decisions with the health of the environment in mind.
