Contamination prevents what is recyclable from being recycled. I will spend 10 minutes researching which materials are accepted by local haulers or drop stations in my community and recycle only those items.

I resisted ordering take-out today! I snacked on fruit and home-made applesauce instead of ordering fast-food delivery. Both healthier and better for the environment :)

Since I've been at home, it has been considerably easier to reduce single-use plastics than on a college campus. This really goes to show how wasteful college dining can be in terms of plastic waste.

I started checking off the 5-minute shower challenge on days that I am not showering. Not showering everyday in itself saves a lot of water am I right? ;)

For the shower in 5 minutes challenge, I only got to 9 minutes. However, I still feel it was an accomplishment because I reduced my shower time and still saved considerable amounts of water :)
