REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportation Walk InsteadHalf of all trips made in the US are three miles or less; 72% of them are driven. Does this statistic describe your own transportation habits? If so, how might you incorporate more muscle-powered transportation in your daily life?
Joseph Rogals 9/30/2020 8:25 AMYes it does and I will try to walk more often. How ever its hard to walk everywhere because many of the places I need to go dont have public transport or are far away. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Choose Organic IngredientsMany people say that “you can’t feed the world with just organic food.” How would you respond to that statement?
Joseph Rogals 9/30/2020 8:24 AMI really like to make fresh food that isnt processed. I am willing to try new meals and spices to spice up my meals for the day. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Try a New Way to PrepCanning and pickling food is a great way to have delicious summer fruits and vegetables all year round. Just make sure to follow the canning and pickling guidelines from the USDA or another trusted source. What are some foods that you would like to preserve and enjoy later in the year?
Joseph Rogals 9/30/2020 8:23 AMI would really love to pickle more food because my family has a garden at home. We tend not to pickle any of it because we either give it away or use it. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportation Car ShareTake a moment to think of places you frequent often (school, work, grocery store, natural areas). Could you choose one or two days a week to schedule driving with a friend, neighbor or co-worker to these places?
Joseph Rogals 9/30/2020 8:22 AMI share a car with all my roommates which allows us to be able to travel around town. If I have to every go somewhere I usually ask people if they need to go to the same place I am going.
