REFLECTION QUESTIONWater Brush My Teeth Without Running WaterWhat is the main water source in your region? If you don't know, how could you find out?
Anthony Rotelle 3/20/2022 1:24 PMMy main water source is an underground water source, which I easily found out by a quick google source, that brought me to my townships website. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWater 5-Minute ShowersName some of the human activities impacting the health of water systems, both locally (your watershed) and globally (freshwater and oceans). What can you do to improve the health of water systems?
Anthony Rotelle 3/20/2022 1:23 PMFracking and littering both affect the health of water, as toxic waste and garbage is getting into the water, affecting the health of the water and the life living in those waters. I avoid litter at all costs, and if any garbage does blow unto my property, I will immediately clean it up. I know this is not directly affecting the water, but it is one less thing that could go into the water, that I can easily help out with. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Choose Two-Sided PrintingChoosing two-sided printing can be an easy adjustment on your computer settings. How can you help others make this same switch? Can it be encouraged company wide?
Anthony Rotelle 3/20/2022 1:20 PMMy school is quite environmentally friendly, we are even a certified green restaurant, so my school really only prints in two sided. I could still simply ask the teachers or admin to make that the default setting on the computer, so unless it is changed, it will always print double sided. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Use a Reusable MugMaybe you've heard how good it is to switch from a single use coffee cup to a reusable one, but it's just hard to make the switch. What stands in your way of making this a habit? By identifying the challenges, you can begin to work through them to have better success in taking this action. Knowing the difference you are making, how does it make you feel?
Anthony Rotelle 3/20/2022 1:18 PMI do not drink coffee, so I do not have this issue. I mainly drink water, and I always use reusable bottles. I try to use the same glass for as long as I can, and when at school, I use a reusable cup. I do not face the challenges posed in the question. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONNature Go for a Daily WalkHow do you experience your neighborhood or city differently when walking instead of driving?
Anthony Rotelle 3/20/2022 1:16 PMWhen I am walking down the street, I notice how lucky I am to be in a neighborhood that is so surrounded by nature. I take it for granted when I drive, but it's nice to walk, as I get that appreciation. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth Joyful MovementWhat's your favorite activity(ies) in which you experience joy while being active and moving?
Anthony Rotelle 3/20/2022 12:58 PMI loved doing activities with my friends outside, whether that was playing sports, going on a hike, or simply walking to our cars. We are all together, having fun, enjoying the outdoors
