REFLECTION QUESTIONFoodAn average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four in the US spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Does this surprise you? Where would you rather use this money?
Katie Sibbet 3/31/2021 3:16 PMUnfortunately, this doesn't surprise me, because I know how much food I unintentionally waste. I'm going to work really hard this month to only purchase the food that I have a plan to use, rather than whatever looks good at the moment.
