REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicity De-Clutter My Home or Dorm RoomHow can you prevent yourself from accumulating more unnecessary things in the future?
Sierra Ullrich 4/09/2020 5:34 PMAll of this extra time at home has encouraged me to do some Spring cleaning. Although I cannot take anything to donation centers yet, it is good to have the pile of things ready to go!-

REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Locally-Sourced MealsIf you were to only eat what is in season locally from now on, what would be the most difficult food item for you to give up? Why?
Sierra Ullrich 2/02/2020 1:16 PMI think I would struggle with giving up apples. Although some apples are grown in the San Diego area, I doubt it is year-round, and apples have become an almost daily snack for me.-
Professor Morrell 2/03/2020 10:37 AMApples are precious here! Theyre usually gone in about 2 weekends in Julian! That is a tough one to give up indeed!

REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportation Walk InsteadHalf of all trips made in the US are three miles or less; 72% of them are driven. Does this statistic describe your own transportation habits? If so, how might you incorporate more muscle-powered transportation in your daily life?
Sierra Ullrich 1/29/2020 10:46 AMI live less than a mile and a half from school, so walking or riding my bike makes sense. When I walk, I use the time to think about what's going on in my life, listen to music, or talk to friends or family on the phone. Walking takes an hour out of my day, but it adds to my health in many ways.-
Professor Morrell 2/03/2020 10:40 AMIts all about balance - walking definitely helps with that - and I often have to schedule in my time to get it in, but it works! Great insight.
