REFLECTION QUESTIONNature Do Nature ActivitiesWhat did you observe while spending time outside -- through sight, sound, smell and/or touch?
-
REFLECTION QUESTIONNature Spend Time OutsideRachel Carson said that we need the beauty and mysteries of the natural world for our spiritual and emotional development. Does that ring true for you? What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time indoors?
Marion Walker 3/11/2021 4:00 PMI think that it is important to spend time outside because it is important to get away from screens and get some fresh air. -

REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicity De-Clutter My Home or Dorm RoomHow can you prevent yourself from accumulating more unnecessary things in the future?
Marion Walker 3/11/2021 5:21 AMTo prevent myself from accumulating unnecessary things I can put more thought into what I am buying before I purchase it and make sure I really need it. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONCommunity Host A Watch PartyWhat did you learn about in the documentary you watched? How did it make you feel?
Marion Walker 3/07/2021 6:07 PMI watched a documentary about global warning and it showed me how fast ice is melting. It made me feel scared and sad about how fast glaciers are melting and how fast sea levels are rising, but it also motivated me to learn more about how I can take action. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Compost Food WasteNew to composting? Be sure to check out the action resource links to learn tips and more about it. As you transition from throwing food away to composting, what do you notice about how much you are tossing? How will you use your compost once it is ready?
Marion Walker 3/06/2021 3:43 PMComposting my food has made me realize how much food waste my family and I produce each day. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth Healthy SleepConsider how many hours of sleep you get now. How would you like to shift your sleep patterns? What are you finding works for you to be successful in this action?
Marion Walker 3/06/2021 3:37 PMGoing to sleep earlier was helpful to me because I felt well rested and I wasn't as tired during the day. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicity Disconnect from EmailNotice how much time you were spending checking email away from work and make note of that. Now that you have stepped away from it and have not been checking, what changes are you noticing in your thoughts, use of time, stress and energy levels?
Marion Walker 3/05/2021 3:38 PMIt was nice to hot have the stress of having to check my emails and respond to them, and I got to spend some time away from screens. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportation Stay on the GroundWhat was your process like for restructuring your trip? How can you avoid more air travel in the future?
Marion Walker 3/05/2021 12:39 PMOver presidents day weekend I traveled locally instead of flying somewhere like I normally do. This helped the environment and it was still a fun trip.
