  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Simplicity Eat Mindfully
Mindful eating is healthier for us than eating with distractions. How do your eating experiences differ when practicing mindfulness?

Eating with distractions like the television causes me to eat more than I need and does not make me feel satiated. Eating mindfully helps me to focus on completely chewing food and digestion.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Health More Fruits and Veggies
How does eating more fruits and vegetables and less meat positively affect yourself, other people, and our planet?

Eating a more plant-based diet reduces the greenhouse gas emissions and water expenditure of industrialized agriculture. We can all benefit from eating more plants.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Waste Use a Reusable Water Bottle
While water bottles are needed for health and safety in certain places, we can do more to reduce the unnecessary use of them. What are the barriers to you using reusable bottles and tap water instead of bottled water? How could you make this a permanent habit?

Using a reusable, stainless steel water bottle is important to me for reducing plastic waste and insuring less toxic chemicals are going into my system.

I really enjoy taking time to be grateful for the abundance in my life. Today I am grateful for learning ( I am a student), for music, and for the fall leaves.
