  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Community LEARN ABOUT TRANS, FEMME, AND NONBINARY EXPERIENCES
How is equality for trans, femme, and nonbinary people important to a just and sustainable society?

    Claire Wulf's avatar
    Claire Wulf 4/05/2021 7:41 PM
It’s important to recognize the fluidity of gender and sexuality as a facet of understanding diversity in humans.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Energy Learn About Renewable Energy
What inspires you to act on sustainable energy and other energy issues?

    Claire Wulf 4/03/2021 10:30 AM
I remember crying over the photos of the BP oil spill when I was a kid. As I got older and learned more about energy, it seemed pointless that we are primarily using a form of energy that is harmful to everything in the world and is also finite. Fossil fuels will one day run out. It makes so much more sense to explore things like solar and wind power that are free and easy to harness while also being environmentally friendly.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Health Happiness
How does/can practicing gratitude keep you centered and motivated to work for a better world?

    Claire Wulf's avatar
    Claire Wulf 3/26/2021 9:54 PM
Self confidence is an important facet of optimism. When you believe in yourself, it is harder to fall into feelings of hopelessness and self doubt that counter act the work for a better world.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Action Track: Building Resilience Help Others
In your opinion, how do social inequalities diminish a strong sense of community?

    Claire Wulf's avatar
    Claire Wulf 3/25/2021 11:34 PM
Social inequalities lead to an us vs them mindset and in that environment communities can’t exist.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Waste Eco-brick learning
What are the uses of an Ecobrick and why are they beneficial?

    Claire Wulf's avatar
    Claire Wulf 3/23/2021 9:13 AM
Éco brick are an opportunity to turn things that would otherwise end up in a landfill into something that can be used properly.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Nature Explore My Area
How might spending more time outdoors enhance your brainpower?

    Claire Wulf's avatar
    Claire Wulf 3/23/2021 9:11 AM
Humans need to be outside both for physical and mental health. Exploring new areas also stimulates and activated the brain as with learning any new things.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Health Joyful Movement
What's your favorite activity(ies) in which you experience joy while being active and moving?

    Claire Wulf's avatar
    Claire Wulf 3/23/2021 9:09 AM
I love going on walks while listening to music, especially when it’s been so beautiful outside!
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Community SIGN UP TO VOTE
Why is voting important to creating a just, sustainable, and thriving world? In what other ways can you actively participate in important decision-making?

    Claire Wulf's avatar
    Claire Wulf 3/21/2021 10:11 AM
By showing support for policies and politicians that support the environment, we show that these policies matter to people and should be important.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Waste Personal Waste Audit
Why is it so difficult to understand the impacts our purchases and waste have on other people, animals, and places? How might your experience with this challenge impact your future consumption and choices?

    Claire Wulf's avatar
    Claire Wulf 3/16/2021 9:48 AM
When things are thrown away, we tend to think of them as disappearing forever. Because our waste is out of sight, it goes out of our minds. By taking stock of the waste I created, I am more aware of the impact a single person can create in a week. I am going to attempt to reduce my trash creation to the point were I have to take out my trash half as often as I currently do.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Waste Use a Reusable Water Bottle
While water bottles are needed for health and safety in certain places, we can do more to reduce the unnecessary use of them. What are the barriers to you using reusable bottles and tap water instead of bottled water? How could you make this a permanent habit?

    Claire Wulf's avatar
    Claire Wulf 3/16/2021 9:45 AM
I have been using reusable waterbottles every day for about a year now. It makes it easier to track how much water I'm drinking as well as saving money by not buying a bunch of plastic water bottles. If I do get plastic bottles, I either reuse them or repurpose them.
