I'm not sure where my water comes from, but I can find out by reviewing the lovely water presentation Jaden and I made last year.

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Waste Use a Reusable Water Bottle
While water bottles are needed for health and safety in certain places, we can do more to reduce the unnecessary use of them. What are the barriers to you using reusable bottles and tap water instead of bottled water? How could you make this a permanent habit?

Although sometimes plastic bottles are necessary for sanitation, they are often overused. Sometimes it can be easier to grab a plastic bottle when you forget, but we need to remember that not only does this waste resources and fill the oceans with plastic, but we also waste money.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Waste Use a Reusable Mug
Maybe you've heard how good it is to switch from a single use coffee cup to a reusable one, but it's just hard to make the switch. What stands in your way of making this a habit? By identifying the challenges, you can begin to work through them to have better success in taking this action. Knowing the difference you are making, how does it make you feel?

My mom does not let me have five cups of coffee at home because she says I'm an addict (I am), so I normally buy it at school (I should also break this habit because I am broke). Since they give non-reusable cups, this makes the challenge a bit harder, but at least I can also try to kill my caffeine addiction.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Waste Skip the Straw
How could you incorporate other "R's" -- reduce, reuse, refuse, repair, repurpose, etc. -- into your lifestyle?

I can make coffee or tea from home, and to further that, I can also use loose leaf teas more than tea bags. I can reuse pages of my note books (I tend to skip to a new page before the one before is completely filled).
