    Walking with friends at a park or natural area and/or competing in 5K challenges or mudruns together as a team!

    I guess we only have so many days left of this challenge. At least we made it to the top 30 as a team!

    I wish I could go on more hikes more often. Being outdoors allows you to see life from new perspectives instead of seeing the same parking lot from my window. I get to see the ecosystems of a variety of animals and on occasion the past people that have come through.

    Prior to getting my Brita pitcher, I just feared all the different things in tap water. But after buying the reusable pitcher and filter, it has cleared all that fear.

    I found this challenge to be more difficult than I expected. Many times, servers at restaurants will give you straws before you can even notice, then they will end up in the trash even if you don't use them. Sometimes they will even put them in the drink for you. It definitely made me more mindful of useless waste.

    Happy to have learned the fundamentals of used clothing instead of buying new clothes! I am convinced that shopping at flea markets is a form of recycling!

    I have been walking home from class/work a couple days each week. This has accomplished several of the challenges because I am reducing the carbon footprint of vehicles, while also spending time outside and getting exercise. I've really enjoyed getting an extra mile or so of walking in. It makes me feel much more calm when I get home after...

    Water hydrates me, its basically the only thing that I ever drink. It allows me to wash dishes, clothes, take showers, brush my teeth, etc.

    The next step that i can take is one that i actually challenged myself to, brushing your teeth without the water on! Or not running water the entire time that you are doing the dishes.
