The rain has been kind of annoying so I started carrying a hand towel in my backpack to wipe off the seat. I went all the way to Thaos Brothers market from my house today which was cool and not as terrifying as I thought it would be since I had to cross Lacrosse st.

For my challenge I am trying to use less plastic such as plastic water bottles and use refillable water bottles or plastic reusable containers to create less of a carbon footprint when it comes to everyday material use. I would say its going pretty well because I have been doing this at the start of college and it has been easier to do in the...

Pretty good! It's starting to get easier to convert things that I use to do in my everyday life to a more sustainable way.

I've started to see more things in my life that I can change to help the environment since doing this eco challenge

I have been enjoying the good weather today and started to prep my garden boxes for planting. I also took inventory of what I may need for planting and where each plant will go. My seedlings are "leggy" and I did some research on how to fix that, or at least help promote stronger plants.

It is still going very well. I think this challenge is something I will stick with! It is so much more satisfying to have your drink be made in your own cup, rather than in a cheap plastic one. Yes, it may be sort of a hassle to have to go in, but it also allows for interactions to be made that don't happen in the drive through!

I have started walking to every class. Not only does it feel good knowing I'm not putting more CO2 into the air with my short drives, but it's also peaceful getting to spend more time outside to myself.

Tonight I ate a vegetarian meal. I made an Indian styled dish featuring potatoes and cauliflower. Eating less meat (specifically beef) is beneficial to the environment.
