REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Reduce Animal ProductsWhy do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our planet and other people?
Tatum Bachmeier 11/21/2021 1:32 PMEating more meat affects our planet negatively because of the number of resources that go into producing meat. Off the top of my head, I know that it takes almost 2,000 gallons of water and 2 pounds of grain to produce 1 pound of beef. Livestock also creates methane and depending on the fertilizers used they also produce nitrous oxide emissions.
