Hi Everyone! I am very excited to be joining this EcoChallenge with all of you. The category that I am choosing is Energy. The first action that I will be taking is adjusting the thermostat. Now that is it becoming colder, the need for the air to constantly be on is not necessary. My roommates and I have decided to raise the air up 2 degrees and the heat down 2 as well. The next action I will be taking is powering down my computer. By turning my computer off at the end of the night, I can save a lot of energy that would otherwise go to waste. The third action I am taking is turning off all electronics, lights, and appliances when I am no longer using them. I tend to leave the lights to my room on even when I am not present, so I have been trying to stay conscious of this and place my efforts is saving more energy.
