REFLECTION QUESTIONNature Spend Time OutsideRachel Carson said that we need the beauty and mysteries of the natural world for our spiritual and emotional development. Does that ring true for you? What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time indoors?
Bianca Bonilla 11/24/2020 11:40 PMI feel like it does ring true to me. There is something about spending time in nature that is undesirable. Breathing the air on top of your hike or even looking at the ocean wave crash something about it is just breath taking. This builds emotional connection to nature that you become more attached and appreciate a lot more for what the planet does for us.

REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Use a Reusable Water BottleWhile water bottles are needed for health and safety in certain places, we can do more to reduce the unnecessary use of them. What are the barriers to you using reusable bottles and tap water instead of bottled water? How could you make this a permanent habit?
Bianca Bonilla 11/24/2020 7:19 PMAs we all know that plastic water bottles just add on to waste so some ways I have been able to reduce my water bottle usage I have purchased a Brita which is a water filtration system. This filtration system allows be to pour in tap water on top and then it produces clean water for us to drink. This saves money on purchasing water cases and reduces plastic pollution. -
