Within my region, an environmental factor that affects us heavily is water pollution. This affects us heavily because with toxic chemicals being in the water, the waste may infect the fish and when we eat the fish that has been infected, we may get sick because of the infected fish.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

A huge benefit nature gives us is oxygen. We need it to survive and it all comes from trees. Another benefit for us is shade from the sun when we really need it.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Waste Go Paperless
Reducing your paper mail can reduce mental clutter as well as physical waste -- by reducing what is coming in, you can reduce what is going into the recycling bin too. How does it make you feel? What is the next step you will take to reduce your waste?

    Mark James Bumatay's avatar
Mark James Bumatay 11/23/2020 7:27 PM
Reducing physical waste makes me feel more organized as I don't have to see my workstation in a very messy condition. Reducing paper use makes me feel more organized. The next step for me is to go completely paperless by using more electronics to get my work done. Computers, phones, etc.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Food Try a New Way to Prep
Canning and pickling food is a great way to have delicious summer fruits and vegetables all year round. Just make sure to follow the canning and pickling guidelines from the USDA or another trusted source. What are some foods that you would like to preserve and enjoy later in the year?

    Mark James Bumatay's avatar
Mark James Bumatay 11/23/2020 7:25 PM
A fruit that I would like to preserve and enjoy later in the year would be pickled mangoes. I never really had pickled mangoes, but I always see my mom doing it and I do want to taste them once and find out how it taste like.

When I'm stressed and need to relax, I usually play games or sleep. But when I get a chance, I usually go to a high place usually on a mountain and look at the scenery below. I can help others to cope by offering to help them with what is challenging them and also getting them to relax at the same time.
