    I think it's usually hard to make the switch if you don't plan ahead and be intentional about using reusable items throughout your day--I think incorporating into your morning routine the items you need to bring with you for the day is helpful!

    I love having a clean working space and hate clutter, so this is definitely a positive step for my mental health and for reducing my waste!

    Who is most affected by environmental degration and/or environmental irresponsiblity in your community? How are they affected?

    It's important to recognize that there's a lot of environmental justice issues right in our backyard close to Tufts, such as in the POC communities in Boston. The city of Chelsea is an example of this--as a majority POC community, it's currently overburdened with industrial waste and other environmental hazards.

    Recently I've really been trying to eat more vegetarian meals and incorporate more vegetarian sources of protein into my diet such as tofu, chickpeas, and plant-based "meat"! If I do eat meat, it's usually chicken or fish and I try to stay away from red meat as much as possible, knowing that the environmental and social impacts are so much greater.

    I'm from Seattle, and fires are environmental factors that negatively affect human health, especially those with respiratory issues and vulnerable populations like children and the elderly.

    Buy only versatile, long-lasting pieces that you can mix and match with a lot of items already in your closet! I tend to stray from flashy statement pieces that you only end up wearing a few times. Participating in clothing swaps is also a great way to switch up pieces in your closet!

    I regularly like to order in at least once a week, but there's always a lot of single-use waste generated from it. Going forward, I'll try to be more conscious of where I order from and prioritize menu items that I know will come with less packaging or ordering from places that use compostable containers!
