What natural gifts are you grateful for?

I'm quite enamored by wildlife... I love seeing the cardinals flit about the trees, the ferns alongside the path, the wild daisies popping up just off the beaten path, the sunlight beaming down through the tree branches, the colors changing in fall, catching a glimpse of a deer bounding off deeper into the woods, turkey vultures circling overhead, young robins figuring out how to fly... Any bit of nature I see on my way to school or in my backyard I always enjoy seeing.

    Simplicity Track my Purchases
What have you noticed about your purchases? Where are you inclined to make shifts, if any?

It's been eye opening to compare just how much I spend on food on days I go to school. It's helped me spend less on eating out and instead either waiting until I get home to eat lunch or bring something from home to eat. This activity has also helped me start keeping better track of my finances in general, which I've told myself many times that I'd start...eventually. I definitely plan to stick with this!

What would you like to invest more time in reflecting on?

I personally get stressed fairly quickly when it comes to school and work, so I will reflect on everything good in my life and try to de-stress daily so I don't overwhelm myself.

Watching the sunsets has been a great way to get some really nice pictures! It's amazing how many colors the sky shows every night.

Reflecting on everything that is good in the world makes it a lot easier to be good yourself. You remember the good feeling it gives you, and it motivates you to share that good feeling. It's also good to not think about things that get you down all the time.
