I was fairly surprised by the amount of waste I produce daily. It was a lot less than I maybe expected. While our personal waste accumulation is a problem, our reliable on single use packaging, especially plastic, is a systemic issue. Many people have a desire to reduce their waste but options too often rely on unintuitive replacements and aren’t accessible. All of this is compounded by the pandemic with reusable options sometimes being a safety issue.
