    In order to cut down on waist and help fit the busy schedule of a Division I athlete I will plan out three meals a day and prepare them ahead of time. This will ensure that the food that I buy is made and not waisted.

    I have chosen the daily action in the food category to lower my footprint and do my best for the environment. I have chosen to eat two meatless/plant based meals a day this week. This is something that I believe is very doable and will benefit me in the long run. In the morning I will eat a plant based breakfast that consists of oatmeal, fruits, nuts and ground cinnamon. The second meal will be a little more difficult and will more than likely be the lunch meal. This will likely consist of salads, rice and beans, tofu burritos, and other plant based quick and easy meals. As a college student it is hard to get a quick/nutritious meal but if I stick to the basics and try plant based as long as I can I will not only help my own health, but the planets.
