REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicity Needs Vs. WantsHow is creativity a necessary ingredient for practicing simplicity?
Alexandra Gamboa 8/13/2021 11:31 AMBeing creative is necessary when practicing simplicity because you need to think of ways to best utilize food and products. Like how to re use them or make them last longer -
REFLECTION QUESTIONCommunity Host A Watch PartyWhat did you learn about in the documentary you watched? How did it make you feel?
Alexandra Gamboa 8/12/2021 12:26 PMI watched the Food Inc documentary with my family and it was great to see them thinking about how they can make a difference and want to consume less meat.

Alexandra Gamboa 8/10/2021 12:36 PMI got my family to get together last night and watch Food Inc. It's a documentary that shows the horrible way animals in the food industry are treated and where your food comes from. When I first saw it in 7th grade, it completely changed my perspective on "fast food" and has made me more aware of where my food comes from. 10/10 recommend you watch it! (It can be graphic, but it's eye opening) -
Alexandra Gamboa 8/07/2021 5:46 PMI went for a walk on the beach today and was picking up trash along the way. I saw a lot of fishing line in the water and stuck in the seaweed as well. Next time I'll try to remember to bring a knife or something because I couldn't untangle the lines.-
Professor Morrell 8/09/2021 9:48 PMproud of you, yes, great idea to bring scissors!

Alexandra Gamboa 7/28/2021 5:03 PMToday at work I started asking people picking up their orders if they needed chopsticks and utensils so I wouldn't give them some with their order if they didn't need it. A few people said they didn't need anything so that was able to reduce a little waste. -
Alexandra Gamboa 7/27/2021 12:13 PMI've been working on shopping more mindfully and this has helped me save money and be less wasteful
