REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Use a Reusable Water BottleWhile water bottles are needed for health and safety in certain places, we can do more to reduce the unnecessary use of them. What are the barriers to you using reusable bottles and tap water instead of bottled water? How could you make this a permanent habit?
Lauren Godlewski 4/28/2020 6:38 PMSome of the barriers of using reusable water bottles and tap water are that if you are running errands and drink all your water, it is difficult to find a place to refill it while just buying a cheap plastic water bottle seems easier. To make this a permanent habit, you could remember to fill a reusable water bottle before you leave your house and the longer you do it, the more public water fountains you can find and keep track of. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONNature Spend Time OutsideRachel Carson said that we need the beauty and mysteries of the natural world for our spiritual and emotional development. Does that ring true for you? What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time indoors?
Lauren Godlewski 4/28/2020 6:35 PMIt does ring true for me, taking time to sit in nature and reflect helps increase how in touch I am with my emotions and how I am feeling. A culture that spends most of its time indoors forgets their emotional and spiritual sides and that can result in losing touch of who you are. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth HappinessHow does/can practicing gratitude keep you centered and motivated to work for a better world?
Lauren Godlewski 4/28/2020 6:34 PMIt helps me to take a step back and think about the good things I have even in scary and uncertain times
