REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Use a Reusable MugMaybe you've heard how good it is to switch from a single use coffee cup to a reusable one, but it's just hard to make the switch. What stands in your way of making this a habit? By identifying the challenges, you can begin to work through them to have better success in taking this action. Knowing the difference you are making, how does it make you feel?
Giselle Hart 10/22/2020 9:27 AMI have made it a habit to always use a reusable mug earlier this month, and it has stuck really well. I just make a lot of coffee at home and never buy paper or single use to-go cups for my own use. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicity Needs Vs. WantsHow is creativity a necessary ingredient for practicing simplicity?
Giselle Hart 9/17/2020 11:20 AMWhen practicing simplicity, it is important to think outside the box and implement creative new ideas. Honing in on your own creative nature also makes it easier to be mindful and need less material goods, since you become fulfilled from things with intrinsic value instead. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicity Go For A Daily Walk OutsideFresh air and movement are good for our entire being and can help us think more clearly and creatively. How does taking a walk each day affect yourself and/or your work?
Giselle Hart 8/20/2020 8:59 AMDuring this stressful and unpredictable season in my life, with school starting online, civil rights campaigns, and COVID still rampant, I think taking a daily walk significantly lowers my anxiety level and helps me relax amongst the chaos of the day.
