So far, I have been doing pretty well with being more aware and making an effort to turn off lights, fans, and other things that utilize energy when I am not necessarily using them. Before leaving for class, I would usually leave one or a couple lights on however, I have made an effort to make sure that all the lights are off in order to save energy. As for Zero-waste cooking and eating, I find it hard especially with living on campus to find zero waste options for meals. However, I have utilized reusable containers and utensils and getting correct portion sizes to ensure that I am not creating any waste. This one I find that I struggle with the most and will continue to challenge myself with.
