REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth HappinessHow does/can practicing gratitude keep you centered and motivated to work for a better world?
Andre Josephitis 3/17/2021 11:06 AMpracticing gratitude keeps me centered by always reminding me to treat others how I would like to be treated. Knowing that if everyone could take the same amount of time out of their day as I do to show my gratitude is one thing that keeps me motivated along with just reminding my friends when we are out in public to be polite and thankful to the workers in stores. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Whole Food LifestyleMichael Pollan states that “it is better to pay the grocer (our edit: or the farmer!) than the doctor.” What are your thoughts on this assertion?
Andre Josephitis 3/12/2021 5:37 PMI think it eating healthy is a very proactive thing you can do to save yourself a trip to the doctor's office. At the same time, it is also important to eat healthy in order to receive all the nutrients your body needs on a daily basis. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Use a Reusable Water BottleWhile water bottles are needed for health and safety in certain places, we can do more to reduce the unnecessary use of them. What are the barriers to you using reusable bottles and tap water instead of bottled water? How could you make this a permanent habit?
Andre Josephitis 3/12/2021 5:09 PMSome barriers that one might come across when trying to is that they don't want to go out and buy a reusable water bottle or they have one and always forget to use it. One thing that I have started to do to make using a reusable water bottle a more permanent habit is I like to put stickers on my water bottle that I like to show off to my friends and. Another thing I can do is just getting in the habit of filling my water bottle up every day in the morning so when I need water it is already there, rather than going to the RedZone to buy water. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportation Conduct Virtual MeetingsHow can you ensure that your virtual meetings honor your values and your company's culture?
Andre Josephitis 3/12/2021 5:04 PMOne thing that I like to do when hosting a zoom meeting for the volunteer program that I am apart of is to have a small little running outline of the main points I would like to bring up at that meeting. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicity MeditateWhat would you like to invest more time in reflecting on?
Andre Josephitis 3/10/2021 1:46 PMI would like to start reflecting on my college experience more and make sure that I am doing everything I can to make the most of my college experience. I am heavily involved on campus but I often reflect about if I have time in my day to be doing more? -
REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicity De-Clutter My Home or Dorm RoomHow can you prevent yourself from accumulating more unnecessary things in the future?
Andre Josephitis 3/09/2021 2:31 PMMy roommate and I spend 10-15miutes every day picking up clothes off the ground in our room, making our beds, cleaning our bathroom and vacuum to keep our room from becoming cluttered and messy -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth Exercise DailyHow can you incorporate other personal values (like quality time with friends or spending time in nature) into your exercise routine?
Andre Josephitis 3/09/2021 2:26 PMEvery day my friends and I go to the gym together as a fraternity to exercise and hang out in the gym. Today we worked on our chests and triceps while using the bench press and other machines to workout.
