I spent about 2 1/2 hours at MEarth (located next to Carmel Middle School) volunteering with harvesting and a bit of weeding to help out with their habitat! With two other volunteers and MEarth's property manager, the produce that was harvested today was donated to one of the many non-profit food bank organizations in Big Sur! MEarth definitely helped me relax a bit today because I got to learn more about gardening (in general) and be outside and off-campus.
