  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Waste Personal Waste Audit
Why is it so difficult to understand the impacts our purchases and waste have on other people, animals, and places? How might your experience with this challenge impact your future consumption and choices?

    Jasa Mahlen's avatar
    Jasa Mahlen 4/09/2021 3:09 PM
It is hard to see the impacts of waste when the trash is collected and taken out of sight. Thanks to this challenge, I will strive to make even better choices in the future
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Waste Skip the Straw
How could you incorporate other "R's" -- reduce, reuse, refuse, repair, repurpose, etc. -- into your lifestyle?

    Jasa Mahlen's avatar
    Jasa Mahlen 4/09/2021 3:08 PM
Refuse could easily be implemented on campus by saying no to a bag at red zone
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Waste Use a Reusable Water Bottle
While water bottles are needed for health and safety in certain places, we can do more to reduce the unnecessary use of them. What are the barriers to you using reusable bottles and tap water instead of bottled water? How could you make this a permanent habit?

    Jasa Mahlen 4/09/2021 3:07 PM
The biggest issue many people face when trying to use a reusable water bottle is simply remembering to bring it with you. This would become easier the more you do it.
