REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Reduce Animal ProductsWhy do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our planet and other people?
Kyia Pigati 11/05/2019 12:35 PMPeople in richer countries eat more meat because they eat higher on the food chain, they have more access to more things. This means they can afford more and go basically go anywhere to buy any food that they want. People in poorer countries don't necessarily have the easy access. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth Healthy SleepConsider how many hours of sleep you get now. How would you like to shift your sleep patterns? What are you finding works for you to be successful in this action?
Kyia Pigati 10/24/2019 4:57 PMI probably get around 6 hours of sleep each night because I go to sleep late and wake up early. I need to start trying to go to bed at a decent time and still waking up early, but not super early to where I would be tired. In order to be successful in this I need to get homework done earlier so I'm not awake all night. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWater 5-Minute ShowersName some of the human activities impacting the health of water systems, both locally (your watershed) and globally (freshwater and oceans). What can you do to improve the health of water systems?
Kyia Pigati 10/24/2019 4:55 PMThe next thing that I can do is to make this more of a habit. If I'm only doing this for a week I'm not changing much, I need to make sure I make it a habit and keep doing it to make a change. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth Exercise DailyHow can you incorporate other personal values (like quality time with friends or spending time in nature) into your exercise routine?
Kyia Pigati 10/24/2019 4:53 PMWorking out with friends is a good way of also hanging out with your friends. I feel like working out with friends can make it more fun and enjoyable because you have someone to talk to while doing it, so you don't get bored. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicity Go For A Daily Walk OutsideFresh air and movement are good for our entire being and can help us think more clearly and creatively. How does taking a walk each day affect yourself and/or your work?
Kyia Pigati 10/22/2019 1:39 PMTaking a walk each day allows you to relax and kind of escape from reality for a little bit of time. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONNature Do Nature ActivitiesWhat did you observe while spending time outside -- through sight, sound, smell and/or touch?
Kyia Pigati 10/10/2019 1:30 PMWhile I was spending time outside I was able to observe the sunset on the lanai. I've been going outside overnight around when the sun is setting for about 30-45 mins and it allows me to kind of wind down for the night.
