  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Simplicity Limit Social Media
Social media can keep us connected with loved ones, make us laugh, and help us to learn new things. It can also create echo chambers and take more time than we realize or intend to give. After completing this action for a few days, how do you feel? What do you notice?

I have wanted to cut down on social media because it not only wastes time, but It also is a constant source of comparison. I think cutting my time down has been good at helping me live in the present.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

Sleep has been a big thing I have focused on this semester. I have worked to get into bed by 10:30. This has been pretty big for me and has really helped in my overall health!
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Water Brush My Teeth Without Running Water
What is the main water source in your region? If you don't know, how could you find out?

This has been a one that has been a pretty easy switch. I am just more cautious about it. It does not change much about my daily routine and has been very easy to implement each day!
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Simplicity Meditate
What would you like to invest more time in reflecting on?

I think for me it has been big just taking time to calm down and not let my mind race. Just taking a few minutes each day to focus on my breathing and just slowing down has been big for my day.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Waste Use Reusable Bags
What do you do if you find yourself in the situation of needing a bag for items but don't have a reusable one with you or aren't allowed to use the one you brought? Carry things out in your hands? In a cart? Accept a disposable one? If you find yourself in this position often, what system could you put in place to try to create a successful habit of not using plastic bags?

In the past, I have carried things in my hands or bought a plastic bag. Now in the future, I will be keeping reusable bags in my car so I always have a sustainable way to carry things and don't need to buy plastic bags!

For me, it is hard to think about negatives when you are working to practice gratitude. Having gratitude be healthy when shaping a positive worldview and working to appreciate all that you have!
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

What is great with exercise is you can plan to do it with others. Many people have busy schedules and want to spend time with their friends. By doing something like surfing you can spend time with friends and get a good workout in!
