  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Food Advocate for More Food Options

Options include makings wells if the lack of water is the issue. Perhaps transportation. Maybe donate to charity.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Choose Organic Ingredients
Many people say that “you can’t feed the world with just organic food.” How would you respond to that statement?

    gilbert smith's avatar
    gilbert smith 4/23/2021 11:02 AM
While the logistics may get harder as the population expands we just need to grow the yields more.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Transportation Stay on the Ground
What was your process like for restructuring your trip? How can you avoid more air travel in the future?

    gilbert smith's avatar
    gilbert smith 4/23/2021 10:59 AM
It was very easy to say the least. By using public transport or car.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Health More Fruits and Veggies
How does eating more fruits and vegetables and less meat positively affect yourself, other people, and our planet?

    gilbert smith's avatar
    gilbert smith 4/21/2021 9:01 PM
In the producton of the most common types of meat available large amounts of co2 are produced so if less is bought they might have to scale back production.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Health Exercise Daily
How can you incorporate other personal values (like quality time with friends or spending time in nature) into your exercise routine?

    gilbert smith's avatar
    gilbert smith 4/21/2021 8:58 PM
You could do the exercise with others outside.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Health Healthy Sleep
Consider how many hours of sleep you get now. How would you like to shift your sleep patterns? What are you finding works for you to be successful in this action?

    gilbert smith's avatar
    gilbert smith 4/21/2021 8:57 PM
Id like to get to sleep earlier so I wake up early in the morning like I used to so I can have some water before sleeping again. I've been putting my phone away earlier.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Nature Support Local Pollinators
Why is it important to take care of pollinators?

    gilbert smith's avatar
    gilbert smith 4/21/2021 8:55 PM
They are part of the ecosystem.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Weekly Meal Planning
An average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four in the US spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Does this surprise you? Where would you rather use this money?

    gilbert smith's avatar
    gilbert smith 4/21/2021 8:54 PM
No. For paying for college or savings.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Zero-Waste Cooking
In North America, up to 65% of food waste happens at the consumer level. Chef Steven Satterfield advocates for using every part of a vegetable. How can you incorporate using an entire vegetable (including the skins, tops, stalks, etc.) during your next meal prep?

    gilbert smith's avatar
    gilbert smith 4/21/2021 8:54 PM
You could use all of it in a soup.
